In the year of 2009, "Electrical Engineering" (monthly) was started its publication. It is a brand Technical Journal of China's electrical engineering industry. The journal is administered by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), sponsored by the China Electrotechnical Society.
"Electrical Engineering" takes the new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection and independent innovation as the core orientation, focusing on practical engineering technology and frontier development, advocating new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection. The content focuses on the research and development of new electrical technologies, the design, manufacture and testing of electrical equipment and electrical products, the development of new materials and processes, new technologies and new products in various industries.
The readers of "Electrical Engineering" are mainly electrical engineers in electric power, machinery, metallurgy, petrochemical, mining, construction, transportation and new energy industries, research, design and development personnel of Institutes of higher learning and Design institutes.
The Editorial Committee of "Electrical Engineering" is one of the working committees of the China Electrotechnical Society. The journal editorial board consists of well-known experts and academic leaders from various professional fields, including 5 academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering. Professor Zhengming Zhao from the Department of electrical engineering of Tsinghua University, is the director of the Editorial Board of "Electrical Engineering" and the editor-in-chief of "Electrical Engineering".
